'A No Name Poem' Poem by Mae Bonnin

'A No Name Poem'

Once upon a time is how they begin.
Happily ever after calls it all to an end.

Once upon a time, i thought i knew,
But happily after came and i had everything but a clue.

I ran.
I flew.
I jumped.
I fell.
I got back up and all was well.

People take roads all on their own,
Some often less traveled by.
But we're all going the same way,
Just different thoughts to try.

Taking this road, your not alone,
Though this is how it seems.
Along the way you learn the rules to capturing your dreams.

1) Don't worry.
You have time.
Don't make up your mind today.

2) Forget them.
They didn't care.
Or it wouldnt be this way.

3) Remember, to look both ways but never turn around.
What's ahead is more important than whats already been found.

4) And most of all, no regards to what you come to be.
Everything's here in front of you if you open your eyes to see.
