'Someone Saved My Life Tonight' Poem by Mae Bonnin

'Someone Saved My Life Tonight'

Someone saved my life tonight.
I didn't faulter, didn't fight.
The room inside was cold and damp.
Illuminated by the lamp.

Someone saved my life tonight.
The aura was blinded bright.
He took me in with open arms.
Hands of his blocked the swarms.

Someone, yes.
He saved my life.
Days were added to the night.
