A Note In Time Poem by Kim Cresswell

A Note In Time

The keys on a piano remind me of the grooves in a Roulette wheel,
Each key you press could be a gamble,
It might not sound right, it might not work,
But you know that once you press that key,
The sound it makes will be very real,
You cannot remove that sound once it has rang through the air around you,
You will never be able to remove that note in time,
Time.
Over time,
A song will be made.
Your song.
Once you move further on in life your song will compose itself,
How it will sound is completely up to you and the decisions you make,
But remember the relevance to the Roulette wheel,
Don't do something you know you will regret,
Don't gamble your life away,
Remember your note in time.
