A November To Remember Poem by Akachukwu Lekwauwa

A November To Remember

Rating: 2.5

It was indeed a November to remember,
A twenty ninth day that was dominated by night.
At 1: 15PM, the sun shone,
But the day was gloomily hackneyed.
The pain bit, the taste was;
My heart was heavy but the feeling was weightless.
It was like a dream, but I was wild awake.
I thought I was watching an epic,
But, behold reality stared at me...
But I shall understand it better by-and-by,
For 'Even in darkness, light dawns for the upright.'
