A Painful Walk Poem by chapman winston

A Painful Walk

Rating: 4.5

Dreaming of better hopes
A sound of unaccomplished future dawn on me
Breaking my codes of rise
Creating a theme of defeat on a banner i tried to design
But my unflinching fate i clinch to
A quest of transformation
I longed for all my life
Flags of victory i wished to wave
But the thorns of envy threw me to the shores of the helpless souls
I moaned, they laughed
Been the pointed item in the minds of every buyer
A reckless society i made a home
in my quest to rise, a friend of differences
i align to
a different culture i tried to birth father
nevertheless an uncharacteristic behaviour of my fellow brethren
i experienced
a lighten of discrimination was i strike with
on the grounds of colour, origin and tribe
a treaty i sign to subscribe to unite
an antidote i tried to create to inject into the bodies of my fellow brethren
just to form a formidable side for peace and unite
success beheaded my stress
Victory became my game of play
I dreaming of better hopes
Hope to rise but not fail
Hope to make the impossibilities possible
To soar
And soar higher than the falcon
To unite and promote peace
But a painful walk i embark on

i love this. finally a person with the awknowledgement of peace. some just cannot understand how important it is. keep this in your heart and guard it carefully because there are others out there who wish to take it from you. keep it close and keep the words flowing!
