A Park Across The Track Poem by Hiroshi Satow

A Park Across The Track

There's a park across the track
So tiny, so many trees
Whenever I stroll I find myself
Buried in leaves in the autumn morning

There's a park across the track
So tiny, so welcoming
On every stone I step I always hear
Kids playing, laughing, in the summer evening

There's a park across the track
So tiny, so dear
I'll never miss her in the park
Never ever, at midnight in spring
