A Peaceful Mind Poem by oliver phiri

A Peaceful Mind

A peaceful mind…the life I left behind
A simple real life...Not an abstract with complicated minds
A life full of joy and pride…a life I wish I could rewind...
As though I’m waiting for jail sentence, I’m in remand
Try to cry but tears I’ve finished…
My heart is suffocated…my lungs are drowning.
If they were volcanoes they would have erupted…
I miss my peace of mind…my life I left behind
I need my peace of mind
