A Person Who Sees All Poem by Doris Cornago

A Person Who Sees All

Count yourself privileged to have known me
I've shown you all of myself when
I speak truthfully of
Who you are
Or what
You
Mean to
Me, the fullness
Of what I can be, free and
Undiluted conversation from a stranger
Such a conversation cannot be paid for in currency
But in kind, in being a person who sees all as his equal

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
We meet strangers everywhere but mostly in places where we feel in need of someone who will give us some affirmation, like in a doctor's clinic when we're waiting for the results of our clinical tests on a lump. When we're in misery, that's when any comforting hand or word is critical for us, our lifesaver.
