A Piece Of Heaven Poem by Cory Jensen

A Piece Of Heaven

When teardrops fall from your eyes
A piece of Heaven just died tonight.
A fallen angel lays broken
Your final blanket is wove.
A little piece of me has shattered
The moment you walked down the road.
The piece of Love I tossed aside
Was your final battle cry.
I can't take back the words so sharp
My bitter melody lives in your heart.
Every word, I meant to the core.
Too bad you didn't love me before.
A piece of Heaven landed in my arms.
I threw it all away
With all your old charm.

Interesting rhymes, Cory. You've got the sounds without being exact and it works.

Wow..... You know, this really reminds me of Roxas and Kelly, for some reason I just can't comprehend. Simply amazing. Another masterpiece by you, Cory.
