A Pillow For Dreams - Poem by Cecil (C.J.) Krieger

She had left without a word
Except one thing she left behind
A fancy yellow frilly dress
I think she left for him to find
He took the dress with tender hands
And laid it lightly on the bed
When time had come for him to sleep
Upon the dress he laid his head
