A Pirate's Dream Poem by James Calton

A Pirate's Dream

Rating: 5.0

Dedicated to CJB

Like a ship lost at sea,
I've veered from my course.
But I've seen your North Star,
And I'm heading to port.
Though the waves may crash
And the wind may blow
Deep down in my hull
I already know...
That when the morrow breaks
And the sun doth shine.
The storms of the past
Will be lost in time.
Your love will again
be my precious treasure.
Pressed down, runneth over,
and beyond all measure.
