A Place For Prayer Poem by Telva D. Bolkcom

A Place For Prayer

No matter where I am, when
troubles come and no escape I find.
I stop and go to God in prayer,
and tell Him just, what's on my mind. Sometimes I'm driving down the highway,
or standing in a crowded grocery store.
But when it's something I can't handle,
I find I need God even more. I'd really like to set aside a time,
and place to say a quiet prayer.
But it isn't always possible to find,
peace and solitude waiting there. So I thank the Lord that He can,
meet me, anytime and any place.
And take my many cares away,
while I feel His love's embrace.

If you shorten your lines so that they are a bit more equal, your poems will be easier to read. Your sentiment is great. I fully agree with you. Any Place anytime you can find peace in God. Hugs Jan
