A Place Preferred Poem by Felicia Branch

A Place Preferred

Is there such a thing as a perfect world?
A place without diseases and unknown cures?
A place without crime, taking lives that aren't mine.
A place where things can't be wasted...like time.
Is there such a thing as equality?
Where diversity is accepted in private and openly?
A place where struggle can no longer flow.
And hate can make its home deep in the shadows.
Is there such a thing as a perfect world?
Where peace and kindness is always preferred?
A place where respect and passion can be seen.
And not just a distant thought in somebody's dream.

An insightful rendition set aside for sober reflection. A beautiful work of art. Thanks for sharing Felicia.

A place where struggle can no longer flow. And hate can make its home deep in the shadows. only when human minds change, we can change this world.. or else it will be ever like this as it is........ tony
