A Platonic Relation With An Allama(Islamic Scholar) Poem by arif uddin

If you've a glimpse at any great Islamic Scholar,

You'll find the coldness of your eyes.

If you walk with him,

Just think you're walking towards the paradise.

If you carry his shoes just for a second,

You're more likely to eradicate the dust mixed with vanity, zeal, hostility, anger, from your heart & soul.

If you peruse his divine speeches enthusiastically,

You can hug the love of Almighty Allah & Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)

If you wait on him,

You're fail-safe to be poured with enormous spiritual knowledge.

If you like to have the savor of Heaven on earth,

(You) always try to win his eye-contract.

If you're able to have a subtle look at him,

You'll see the spectrum of knowledge surrounding him.

If you can subtly gaze at his tattered shirt,

You'll see the shirt covered with the surface of heavenly cloth.

If you can adore him through a platonic relation,

You surely can love the Almighty Allah & Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) .

Don't seek the above existence until you can annihilate your “ego “.
