A Poem - Poem by Meagan Miller

Sad eyes even though there's nothing wrong,
Scars left from previous times.
I love that about you...
The imperfection and mistakes
That make you a perfect human.

They don't see what I see now
When I look deep into your eyes;
Lost in the colors of your past,
Knowing everything will be okay
Because we're together at last.

The freedom, passion, and joy that I feel
That I never before experienced.
You make me crazy, more than before.
The simplicity of your smile
Makes me love you that much more.
All I ask is to be loved in return
And I'll be yours forever more.
