And now you ask about a poem for your sweet name,
All of a sudden, and from someone you’d never known…
Better search it in the heart of a friend, lit by your flame,
That poem was always there, even though he’d hardly shown…
So let me tell you what’s your name?
You whom I called; my eternal sacrament…
Now my tongue spells it in shame,
Scared of not finding a proper compliment…
You, who were born in December,
Just two days before Christmas Eve,
A day to light up candles; remember,
Be a good Christian; in God believe...
You, I know your name very well,
Will keep it inside; no one will tell,
Emotional, magical, magnificent angel,
Only you and me can solve out this riddle...
For your parents you were a sweet little girl,
Daddy's child; an everlasting shiny pearl...
They wondered what name would fit more,
Emily, Kate, Anne or maybe...Eleanor?
Still no one can guess who you are; my beautiful,
A woman having a killing glance, a smile so cruel,
You, who always considered reason as a primary rule,
You, who always kept your logic, even if loved, like a fool...
And you, all who read these lines; no answers you can find,
For you all are carried away by her beauty; have a man's mind,
Only I hold her name deep down in my soul,
Believe me if you knew her like I did, you'd say; she's worth it all...
For you people, she's Esmeralda,
Recently baptized by holy water...
For me, she's still my soul's euphoria,
As I toll the bells of Notre Damme, forever...
P.S. knowing you'd mind, no names I shall mention, my dear friend...A promise is a promise...........
