When I'm feeling sad and lonely
If I'm feeling blue
All I do is call her name
My Denise will help me through.

My Denise is one sweet angel
Sent down from above
Sent down with wings of gossamer thread
Sent here to show me love

My Denise is in my heart
She lives deep in my soul
She helps me through the darkest hours
Though they be black as coal

My Denise is my life force
She is the blood rushing through my heart
She is every fibre of my being
And we shall never part

No we shall never never never part
For that would end my life
My Denise and I are together now
She's my friend, my lover and
someday I pray
Denise will become my wife

I could not wish for a better bride
For I know her love is true
She will come along on life's long ride
And she will be there to help me through

My Denise is just my everything
To me there is nothing more
For she is the one who I truly love
Cherish and adore.
