A Political Covid Fly Poem by Hebert Logerie

A COVID fly
Is contagious, whiffy and deadly
And is attracted by silly lies.
Politicians who lie
And who are sneaky
And full of hypocrisy
Will eventually be stung by the fly
That loves anything that's foul.
Bring the sanitized towel
To wipe up the soiled pants.
Audacious insects, like ants
Love sugar and sweets, and flies
Love sweat and lies.
Flies are annoying like stupid tweets.
Lies are repugnant like soiled and smelly sheets.
God, please send more COVID flies
To stop all the creepy and repellent lies.
God, please protect us and our world
Caught in a chaotic and unpredictable twirl.
