A Prayer For Gaza Poem by TARIQ BIN KHALAS

A Prayer For Gaza

A Prayer for Gaza
The land is red with blood, the sky is dark and grey,
In the streets of Gaza, lives are taken away.
A father holds his son, a mother starts to cry,
It is hard to watch as the innocent die.
God sees every tear and knows every pain,
The sun of peace will shine again.
I dream of Al-Aqsa, where the world is still,
To pray my Nafl there, with the Almighty's will.
I pray, Tariq, for a day that is bright and new,
Where the war finally ends and peace comes into view.
