A Prayer To My Living God - Poem by Bandile Matsenjwa

Late at nyt
By myself as i slept on ma rum
I had a weird dream
I had to tok 2 God
The only stream
To my soul
Just to feel better
Cause he's with me now n forever
He's my God with help
My God with guidance
He fills my heart with love
And His grace from above
With Him imma go places afar
And depict thoughts n feelings up to your par

The truth is
He fills my heart
With love
He keeps me waiting
Even when i'm fervour
He guides me as i go for endeavours
Im living because of nobody's favour
But His
I pray
God bles my fam n friends
They're all i got my lord
Pr'ythee bless my mom
She kips me safe 4rm harm
Please bless my dad
He calms me when im mad
Pls bless my sister
A minute with her makes me happier
Bless my friends
Without em there'l be no fun
My teacherz lord
Without em there'l be no leader
No poem, no inteligence
Thank you lord
In my lyf lord
U help me rest after carrying too much load
U guide me 4rm sinning
Gave me d ability 2 singing
My life is in yo hands
Thank You Lord
