A Pretty Purple Flower.
A pretty purple flower, is what it was I see,
And it had made me think of Jamie,
So I took a picture,
So that I could send., so she could see.
that I was thinking of her, because she's such a good friend to me!
So that's why I'm sending this; and also because I wanted to say,

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I work on a farm and this flower was growing there. And I had been thinking of a woman I really like a lot who works at my apartment and so I wrote it for her, because she's one of the people that have helped me to be able to make it through my days because she's one who has really brought me a big smile over the time I've known her. And she's someone who really means a lot to me!
