A Protest Note To God.(Khuda Ke Naam) Poem by mazHur Butt

(My wife,43, passed away on 5th July 15 after getting critical burn injuries on 4th July 15 due to explosion of petrol bottle stored for the power generator.

Like Poe's Annabel Lee she too was my Love and Soul....she will always be missed.)

Here is a couplet i wrote upon her demise...

KHUDA KAY NAAM.....

KOI TOHFA BHI LETA HE WAPAS?
TU MAGAR DAY KE CHEEN LETA HE
MEINAY MAANA KE TU KHUDA HE MAGAR
APNAY BANDOAN SE BHI TU CHOTA HE

Translation:


Nobody asks back his gift
But YOU give and take it back
I accept that you are God but
frankly you are smaller than your Children.
