A Random Conversation - Poem by indira babbellapati

'I'm simply amazed
at the fluid and lucid flow
of your words!
ain't i right
that you write
in a flow? '

'May be you're!
But flow isn't in my hands!
I'm just alert
to flow with it and
catch up with it
before it flows into the sea
and that's my role
and that's what i share...'

'I've learnt first hand
your flow needs to be
triggered or tickled...'

'No! You're wrong!
it happens just like that
irrespective of myself...'

'Nothing in this cosmos
happens just like that!
everything IS causal;
has a reason...may be
we're oblivious of...'

'ah, it could be that
mine has in my previous birth!
it's now gained a stronger
feel and presence, trust me!
My poetry springs from there...'

'Yes, your poetry's conceived
and impregnated in your last birth
and is delivered NOW!

'wow, how lucid you put it! '
