A rare kind of a friend is an anomaly
In the face of the fast changing landscape of life
Like a beautiful blue sky
A rare kind of a friend is not polluted by time and achievements
Like a mirror in the dark
A rare kind of a friend keeps your reflection hidden inside
Not to steal your lime light but to nourish your wellbeing
A rare kind of a friend is a pillar of strength
And a pillow of comfort amidst the uncertainty of life
A rare kind of a friend does not dissolve in turbulent times
And appear in happy times
A rare kind of a friend stands within the perimeter of your thoughts
Always ready to rekindle your flame
Like an album of memories, a rare kind of a friend is a piece of art
That keeps on reminding you of the beautiful things in life
A rare kind of friend is hard to find
But once you find one, cherish them
For they are the substance of hope
The monument of unconditional love
A rare kind of friend is a beautiful reminder that life is good
