God gave his only son
and knew after this ultimate
revelation and sacrifice
that mankind would be changed
and live in harmony
and for this he cleansed them
from original sin.

And God was pleased
so took a two day sabbatical
that lasted two thousand years.

And after his two day sabbatical
that lasted two thousand years
he returned to find
that Man
was not in harmony at all.

With Nation against Nation,
Neigbour against Neigbour,
Brother against Sister,
Child against Parent.

And He saw that man had
polluted, destroyed, anhiliated;
the Earth.
That He had given to them;

And God felt the hatred and misery;
the Famine and Indulgence
and He paused for a restless hour
to decide
what needed to be done
next.
