A little seed, so small and shy,
Beneath the earth, it starts to lie.
It feels a nudge, a gentle call,
To reach for light, and stand up tall.
No fear it has, no wish to stay,
Just push and stretch, and greet the day.
A tiny root, a tender shoot,
The start of life, the sweetest fruit.
So too the soul, a quiet seed,
Responds to love, to learn and heed.
A gentle urge, a whisper deep,
To wake from slumber, secrets keep.
To shed old ways, and let them go,
To let new wisdom start to flow.
This openness, this gentle plea,
To be much more than we used to be.
This reaching out, this simple 'yes, '
Is where true spirit finds its bless.
To grow and learn, with humble grace,
Is life's true, sacred, highest race.
