A River Between - Poem by Oluwatosin Richard Shiba Aribo

A river enjoys its momentum
Between two lands
Whose foundations are one

Reconciliation, that nine life cat

Each time'
The repeated time'
Drowned in these waters

We are now two
Solitary islands
Opposite each other'

Malice has descended, sunbathing
Showboating
In the river between'
