A Room With An Empty Door Poem by Rey Benipayo

A Room With An Empty Door

I live in a dark room
It’s room of silence
Where there’s only one window
And no single door
There are ghost live here
There are voices that keep hunting me
I am afraid each night
For I never fall asleep
They’re disturbing me
I must talk to them
But I can’t, they’re just hallucinations
They‘re killing my mind
I confess I did something wrong in the past
That becomes my nightmare
That I am paying for it
That’s why I live in this place
O, pretty soon, I’ll be insane
I must escape from this place
I must live another life
But I don’t know how?
I need some help…
