A Rose With Its Grace Poem by Mohammad Younus

A Rose With Its Grace

A rose, with its grace,
symbolizes beauty and love,
Yet its thorns remind us
that the path to such grace
Often winds through
trials and adversity.
It stands for eternal life,
A beauty that defies the death.

After enduring winter's bitter grasp,
The rose reawakens to life
with spring's tender touch,
Its withered branches unfurling anew
In a vibrant dance of color and light.

So simple, naive and absurd, To assume
That all things—grand and humble—
Are eventually buried in non-existence,
destined to remain unseen, never to rise again
Yet life's essence blossoms forth,
Life is beautiful, like the poetically living rose.
