A Seeker Poem by Rajashree Mohapatra

A Seeker

A SEEKER

When I whisper into the ears of darkness
Cross over destinies of present
Reach the shore that lies beyond
In a sacred shrine undisturbed over the ages.

Listening to the beating of my heart
Unveil the Veil of cosmic arts
Serpentine curls of pristine glory
Dreamy carvings on fleshy rosary.

Hidden beneath my black raiment
Soul feels a divine content
Endless waves rise in me
Merge in self, no where to reach.

Gleaming with morning dew
Illumining every colours new
In fire of self I offer self
Paying tribute to power of sense.

Quest for union with supreme
Search for nectar of bliss
Euphoric embrace surpasses its glitter
Divine is my eternal nature.
