IF YOU GIVE ME WINGS...



If you give me wings
and let me fly
I promise...
I shall come back to you.

Every night
I shall sing a song, so sweet
Mellifluous
Melodious
Of the green woods
Of the meadows
Of the blue sky.

Oh dear...
If you set me free
from your golden cage
I shall sing you to sleep
after a long and tiring day
When you sink to bed
Exhausted.

I shall sing...
The happiest song
The sweetest lullaby
The song of freedom
From your window
You could ever hear.

I shall fill your heart
And feel your life
With sheer joy
That will keep you alive
Enjoying the mystery of life.
