A Shadow On The Sun Poem by Sani Ammani

A Shadow On The Sun

A shadow appears
On the naked sun
It looks so strange
Yet familiar
What this shadow may be?

'It is not a shadow
It is I Danjuma
I came on Juma
And I go on Juma
Take-
Take my name to give
And my words to speak:
I am the best
Amongst the best
I take the best
And leave the rest
For the rest to taste

Though I go
And gone I am
I earn to be remember'd
As an achiever
Not a braggart
veni vidi vici

Very pathetic. The sense of poetry has gotten a lot for its reality and life. To those the history can't remember the pen of poet makes immoral. Love it for more its theme than its poetic beauty. 10 for this nice poem.
