A Shining Star Poem by Tom Allport

A Shining Star

Rating: 5.0

A boy is not a man
A girl is not a woman
By the passing of years
It is not age
That makes the woman and man
It is not their speech
Although seems can
It is by far
Their doing, their actions
That define who they are
Truly a man a woman
A shining star.

Well said! What they do is what matters.

I like this! ! It flows along so smooth with a pleasant ripple over the rocks, the smooth time-worn rocks.
