An Old Person left alone
No means of support in an empty rented home
The future not thought of
The past ever near
Once poetry was only
For the educated
And the few
But how times
A little fairy in a tree
Come be happy - sit near me
The World is ours 'til sunset
King and Queen of the Pelicans we
As the chemical wrath rained down
There was nothing we could do
But the white washed cottage
Was hidden and out of view
I see a lighthouse in the distance
It's surrounded by sea
The seagulls are singing
They're happy to be free
I often worry
Of where my next meal comes from
Of where do I sleep next?
Of what the future holds?
Snow, snow, snow
It's everywhere we go
Seeing nature at her best
Magical moments on request
To the low paid and sick
There is not a magic trick
For the cost of Christmas cheer
Which goes up year after year
If the past
And the future
A simple plan
To unite all
Brotherhoods of man
To freely speak
Painted art is artificial
As it is not built
Or made to last
On the contrary poetry
Leaders of the world must choose
They ALL must get rid of arms
This royal and regal isle
This majestic place on earth
This small but beautiful creation
This naturally built castle

Babe hold my hand
How close can we be
Before we see
The strand- which
Pulls and parts
The line so fine
Yours and mine
Through infinite time
Everlasting never parting
Always reaching- reaching
Babe hold my hand

To travel faster than the speed of light may put you in the dark.
If tomorrow is yesterdays today is yesterdays today tomorrow.
The grass is always greener when the mower is broken.
Something that is near to hand can be far in your head.
If a thing has been around for ever you can bet it will never be square.
The sweet smell of success can only be gauged by the size of the defeat.
Articulated lines.... ROAR.
To kiss a lot of frogs to find a prince may well give you warts.
The gravity of the situation is pulling us down.
The rich will always be poor with the poor.
The trouble with statistics are they are manmade.
To be on the forefront of right means you will never be left behind.
If something smells fishy it is probably a bad catch.
The cost of living gets dearer everyday.
There is only one thing certain in the game of darts that is there will always be highs and lows.
A politicians words are meaningless with out actions.
The NHS is the saviour of the poor.
Being happy is only a laugh away.
The center of the world is always where you are.
Advice to would be writers is do not fall into the clique clap, clap, clap trap.
The wealth of a nation can be measured by the amount of food banks it has to go to.
Can any one tell me? what stations the gravy train stops at.
In an ever changing world, nothing actually changes? Except...brilliance always shines!
The essence of perception Can be measured by time.
The gravity of a lie Can be calculated by the fallout.
Many hands means many on low pay.
A fact about fiction is it is only a story.
The present of life is given from the past.
A true wild spirit will always find a way to shine and break free.
