A Short Discussion And Some Possible Slogans

A short discussion and some possible slogans
-Gayathri B. Seetharam
I addressed this remark to an official source about a younger lady in her early thirties
And that is if she was a pleasant distraction or a lasting passion
For they have an understanding is the feedback I have
And it set me on a train of thought;

I cannot translate this to Kannada
For I don't know a word or phrase for pleasant distraction
I would say that it would result in a lack of concentration
And the said lady whose virtue or therein the lack of the same
Is a little suspect,
Believes in resorting to crocodile tears which is a transliteration from Kannada
And debating the existence of this phrase in Hindi,
There is no equivalent other than the pretence of tears;

Languages are not my thing
And I rue the fact that this is a topic which fascinates my son
Who deliberates over Hindi and Kannada, much to my dismay,
When he should be discussing other key matters to my liking;

I would like to think of an art project
Which would single out Canada among western countries
For its bilingualism
And I was unsuccessful in this quest
But the best I came up with is CAN ADA
Which makes Canada a country that can navigate beautifully;

I could make English and French as a fabric art work
By writing both languages as made out of maple leafs
Or I could focus on my mission to be published and paid
And flaunt my liking for PM Justin Trudeau
As a bunch of T-shirts and blouses
Which I would make with a prototype;

The prototype would be my fabric art work idea
With the following quotes of mine:
Justin Trudeau has flair, font and fervour in his mission to make Canada a better place.
Justin Trudeau is a "think tank", a job horse and a "love machine"'.
Justin Trudeau is a guy who listens to you and does not give "crocodile sympathy".
Justin Trudeau believes in the "moral dimension" and the kinetics of the matter in the dynamics of change.
