A Silly Mistake
Just when i felt secure with you
You pulled the rug from beneath me feet
A silly mistake was all it took
I cannot win no matter what i do
Constantly judged
Tested too
What on earth is wrong with you?
Why is it so hard for you to accept
I am only human with flaws like you
Why unable are you to embrace
My faults as well as my good?
You seem to forget i am not your ex
All that i do is for both our sakes
You know i am selfless my heart is true
Why so impossible to get through to you?

You seem to forget i am not your ex................this is my favorite line of the poem. i have 3 ex's but don't hate any of them! Why unable are you to embrace...........i kind of like your word arrangement, but it is strange to read this way, rather than: Why are you unable to embrace (to be continued) ..........
