A Siren Sits Lone Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

A Siren Sits Lone

A siren sits lone on the
Rock that juts
A meter over the waters' edge
Just out of the small port of fishermen
Vast black clouds block star light
Yielding early scepter of dark to night.
