A Small Frightened Flower (Children's Poem) Poem by Hsiu Lee

A Small Frightened Flower (Children's Poem)

A small frightened flower
Has been struggling against a violent storm
She wants to go home
But the rain hides the way home
And the wind blows her back
She is so scared that she is crying her eyes out

Fortunately, Mother draws out the early sun to visit her
She runs in a great hurry to throw herself in mother’s arms
Wanting to be spoiled and comforted
After getting away from yesterday’s storm
And warming herself in her mother’s love
She become beautiful again
