I faced two paths, one whose grass had been turned pale
and the other, still fresh, inviting and challenging at the same time.
I somehow decided to take the untrodden one.
and on that way, I met that beautiful smile,
a smile that changed my world.
She was no beautiful or ordinary woman.
She was a diamond which when kept between glass pieces, spreads a different glint of pureness.
Just by looking at her, my heart started soaring the uncharted waters of infatuation.
As I came to my senses, I realised that that lamp which was illuminating the darkness had vanished.
I started frolicking about with my eyes to catch a glimpse of that fairy once again, but in vain.
That astonishing person had left a mark on every cell of my mind.
I decided to find her, which was just like finding a needle in a haystack. But being determined, I started my work.
At last I found her, the most beutiful face in my world and approached her.
But my heart was trodden upon by that star.
Then I came face to face to the reality-
that heart is a stupid thing.
It comes on such things that we cannot get anyhow.
So, facing this reality bomb,
I continued on the path that I took,
The road Untrodden.
I somehow decided to take the untrodden one. and on that way, I met that beautiful smile, a smile that changed my world. a beautiful poem and the decision to take the untrodden path. thank u very much. tony
