A snake speaks out
There I was
curled up in the morning sun
warming my cold body,
when this person
came along and nearly stepped on me
So I bit him hard.
He ran screaming to
The village
his foot was swollen
but I`m glad he survived
although, it was not my intention.
Later when villagers came to kill me
I slithered away.
Caught and swallowed a rabbit
which is my right?
And went to sleep in a hollow
of an old oak.
