A Soldier In Christ's Army Poem by Randy McClave

A Soldier In Christ's Army

I'm a soldier in Christ's army
As I walk the valleys, streets and the field,
I am filled with the Holy Spirit
My wounds the Lord has healed.
As I go out into any battle
I'm a born again, spirit-filled child of the living God,
The devil cannot ever stop me
As I walk on concrete, pavement, bricks and sod.
Hell cannot defeat me
The grave cannot contain me either,
And the enemy of the Lord will not silence me
As I too am a faithful tither.

I'm a soldier in Christ's army
No weapons or swords need I yield,
I wear the Lord's armor
The Lord he is my strength and my shield.
My life was paid for with the blood of Jesus
Which makes me valuable to the Lord,
I'm Royal, I'm eternal, and I'm redeemed
I need not ever a sword.
I may fall down, but I'll arise and I won't quit.
And I may be weak, but the lord He is strong,
And when the day is all over
Unto the lord I will sing him praises in a song.

I'm a soldier in Christ's army
My destination and victory is already sealed,
No man do I or will I ever worship or bow down to
Unto the Lord only have I ever kneeled.
With no malice or hate in my heart
I go to wherever I am sent,
I march many times many miles tired and alone
As I tell the enemy of the Lord's love, and to repent.
I am the Lord's warrior
I am the Lord's Lamb,
The weapons may form, but they won't prosper, I am a warrior.
I am a victor, a child of the living God! I am.
