A Song For The Ages Poem by Richard Weissman

A Song For The Ages

Whether Sun is shining or dark clouds obscure,
I will never give up.
My will is entrenched in God consciousness,
Whether nations speak well or ill of me,
I will never give up.
Whether these words are prayed from holy altars or ridiculed as life's vanity,
I will never give up.
When all capitulate, and the hopes of children fade,
Then will I sing this mighty song,
A song of limitless tenacity,
A song no human flesh can destroy,
A song divinity has created,
A song of salvation, hope and joy,
Though I sing alone, in solitude,
I sing a song for all the ages,
When songs of doubt and despair are forgotten,
When heaven and earth have passed away -
This song of love shall remain.
Learn it - discover your nature,
Sing it - awaken divinity,
Be it - transformation begins,
A Song for the Ages - I will never stop singing...
'Til all of humanity embraces this song.
