A Song Of The Emerald Land Poem by Stephanie Dower

A Song Of The Emerald Land

Rating: 4.8

Where saphire waters embrace the emerald land,
And golden light trickles through the leaves.
At the place where the mighty mountains stand.
Where the river bends in the valley below.

She, once trapped in time can now be free.
Her dance and the wind go hand in hand.
Her voice is alive again. Her song is true.
A song of the emerald land.

Where the silver loch graces the hill,
And the proud oak stretches to azure sky.
The land is breathing now, whispering.
The stream sings a song that will never die.

She, once trapped in time can now be free.
Her dance and the wind go hand in hand.
Her voice is alive again. Her song is true.
A song of the emerald land.

A fine example of a traditional style and traditional idea with strong descriptive content. Nice work Stephanie.
