A Sonnet To The Life Of Pie Π

Rating: 5.0

Diameter in a circle separate
Circumfe'ence into piece of measured pie.
A many tried, not exact innate
Revealed thy mist around unsolved a lie.

Though being an irrational raised alike
To rational without another clue
Unreal accompanied; convert deltas strike
Reliefs some circuit study, vine endue

Begins with three ‘n ending not abound
We use that twenty-two by seven vail
Though figures keep approximate around
Some taste the real edible, food pie fail.

Archimedes, he died for thee, li'l pie
A Greece's symbol knotted science a tie.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
π is not a mere number, rather it has pondered hundreds of scholar scientists and mathematicians since ancient history (6000 BC) . Seldom it is straight forward to study, rather is random enough with no pattern and no natural intuition. So many trials could not invade deep into its real essence and establish its significance, unwrapping its misty mystery. The most beautiful equation of natural science includes five dominant constants, one of which is π and the equation being the most beautiful ⅇ^ⅈπ+1=0, or, ⅇ^ⅈπ=-1 so an irrational positive number epsilon raised to the power an unreal figure iota and the transcendental irrational positive pie gives rise to a real negative of a rational counting integer one which is unobvious and counter intuitive, that natural instinct cannot perceive and grasp. Assimilating it, there is another history that the decimal of number pie is 3.14159……. that never terminates nor repeats with any pattern. Great Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan filled a copy by calculating the digits of pie after decimal. So, all the digits are not discovered yet even by super computers it may take hundreds of years yet non-ending to the exact accuracy of figures. Vines or branches of circuits have been easier to Wye-Delta(Δ-Y) or Pie-Star (Π *) conversions. We make a handy version of it which is 22/7 for our comfort, we vail, with short cut agreement. A foodie who loves to eat pie, is likely to not get the same thrilling taste out this non-food pie. Archimedes, engrossed deeply in study of pie, when yelled at an invading Roman soldier not to spoil his circle, not knowing that Syracuse is captured by Roman intruders, the dumb Roman soldier cut off his round head with a blow of weapon, in Syracuse. The 16th Greek symbol always competed excellently against adept scholars, in the battle of science, Humans and Pie always made a tie in the game, never letting the other win. Pie is the tie that charms the dress of science, and simultaneously binds the nature with a tough knot. This is written in Shakespearean Sonnet Format, containing three quatrains and an ending rhyming couplet, each line written in Iambic pentameter(5 pairs of meter, a meter is an unstressed syllable followed by a stressed one) . Hope, readers will enjoy it
