A Soul In Pain Poem by RoRo Writes

A Soul In Pain

Rating: 5.0

In the mirror, a fractured soul stares back
In shards of silvered glass, my reflections crack
All the pains and scars are left to bare
Exposed to the world, yet hidden from care
And then I feared to be broken
For in the fragments of me, I'd lose my name
And I would be called nothing
A whispered echo, fading into silence
Till my breath is not heard
And in the stillness, my soul is undone
Not until it's tied to mine
Our souls, our spirit, our graves
Entwined eternally, beyond life's fleeting waves

'All the pains and scars are left to bare Exposed to the world, yet hidden from care' RoRo, I THINK the word you 'want' to use is 'bear', not 'bare'. OR..DELETE 'to' from in front of 'bare'. (cont.) (cont.)

"Bear" and "bare" are homophones, meaning they sound alike but have different meanings: Bear A verb that means to carry, support, endure, or tolerate something. For example, you can 'bear responsibility' or 'bear fruit'. You can also use 'bear' as a noun to refer to the animal.' (cont.)

I like your PH name, and I read your brief bio here. It appears (that) you only have one poem so far on PH. So I assume you are new to this site.

It sounds like/as if/as though SOMEONE has a big problem! ! ! I assume 'wave is used figuratively for a water wave, and is not at all meaning a goodbye or hello wave made by one's hand. : )
