A Soul Still Weeps Poem by Vision Ghost

A Soul Still Weeps

Rating: 4.0

Sunken to the darkness of where eyes once sought
From this silent skeletal face the tears still wrought
To my hands to which one shall quench a notion
Of a thirst for bloody embrace all that is emotion

Still held by the curse never dying for the undead
A mass of candle light for all illuminations dread
As darkness envelopes the forthcoming new tides
For the whispers on the winds as innocence hides

A final vision as burned from the rotting of time
Silhouetted against the constant smile like a mime
For this skull of the cursed sits in anti harmonies
Shrouded in the mists of fore past ghosts gravities

Tempting so the devil for permit to wear this face
And to be forever masked as one with deaths grace
Kiss the lips of torment and passions wet in thighs
Unhindered in the embracing as now stolen in lies

Forever lost as we strive to be so deeply tainted
Virgins heart pounds to the moment when anointed
For the chalice of my tears consumed in such lust
If death cannot take you then in pieces if he must

Snuff thy eyes of candles though the smoke remains
To curve into the air like a maidens dance in pains
For in her bondage doth be reaped her submission
Hide in shadows ‘til daylights done in day’s omission

Thick blood wine poured to a cup of ruby and gold
For their presence in mankind bear to skins so cold
As many lost in nightmares wrangle in deep sleep
Say as many bear witness to when a soul still weeps
