A Special Bond - Poem by Genevieve Lilith Vesta

The nights are cold and
lonely.
The day's roll by, a blur.
Alone again tonight.
How can I get by?
Whenever I see you,
I cry.
Alone in my heart,
alone in my mind.
Our need will hold on,
for now it is gone.
I love you,
I miss you.
We have a special bond
that holds us together
for all of time to come.
