A Spring And Winter Tale Poem by Meng Lim Dr

A Spring And Winter Tale

Even in the brightest spring
the chillest winter some would contemplate
their hearts have lost the will to sing
the sunshine they would not celebrate

but when winter its doleful dirge does bring
such people for spring's arrival they impatiently wait
but it shall be a totally different spring
and dreams have met with a forbidding fate
