A Stalkers Delusion Poem by Timothy Long

A Stalkers Delusion

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I see afar,
But you have no clue.

I watch you closely,
Every move you make,
I know your schedule,
I'm always awake.

I follow you silently,
Like a shadow in the night,
I feel your presence,
Like a thief in plain sight.

I know I shouldn't be here,
But I can't myself,
I'm drawn to you,
Like a book on a shelf.

I know it's wrong,
To stalk you like this,
But I can't resist,
The thrill of the chase.

So I'll keep watching,
From a distance it's true,
Hoping one day,
You'll notice me too.
