A step a time
I feel you moving away
Like the crystal moon in the dark sky
Travels away, silently behind the shadow
In an autumn night
As I look through the window

A step a time
I feel less of your love
As the wrinkled log in the rain
Ceases to exist, one can see
I too feel the same pain
Same loneliness creeping within me

A step a time
I feel you forgetting me
Like long lost bird caught up in wind
No home, no sanctity, no land
As such you seem to drift away
Implacable destiny, alone here I stand
